In addition to a 21 year career in the computer industry, Konrad has authored or coauthored a number of books. Authoring credits include books on PowerPoint, FrontPage, Web server security and installation, and Web site design and implementation using Active Server Pages, Perl Javascript, and Visual Basic.

One of the key features of agricultural development in the last five decades has been intensive groundwater use in the Indo-Gangetic Basin (Pakistan, India, Nepal and Bangladesh) and in the Yellow River Basin (China).
